Liquor License Closing, Financing, Placement and Issuance

The price of a liquor license can range from $30,000 to $500,000 depending on the supply and demand in a particular county. Financing a liquor license can be a major undertaking, and it is one with which we can help. At The Tiller Law Group, we have experience with a variety of licensing and financing scenarios and conduct comprehensive due diligence to ensure the license is free and clear of all liens, encumbrances, judgments and claims of any nature or kind. Our system includes the review of DABT lien records, state and county public records, searches of all available indexes contained within the Florida Secretary of State, Division of Corporations for federal and state judgment liens, UCC filings and active litigation, as well as searches for any delinquencies attributed to the license. Our licensing staff provides superior customer service throughout the licensing process by devoting special attention to communicating and coordinating with our clients to make certain that their licenses are timely and properly issued. We have developed and continue to maintain a strong and reputable working relationship with the personnel at the DABT in both its central and district offices. We also interface well with the municipal planning and zoning authorities to ensure that the desired license can be placed at the chosen location in compliance and conformity with the relevant state and local requirements.
